Swedish massage uses firm but gentle pressure to promote relaxation, with less focused work than deep tissue. I am always happy to combine styles depending on the client’s needs. Please note: Massage East does not currently offer prenatal massage. Please do not book this type of massage if you are pregnant.

Deep tissue massage is recommended for clients looking for relief of tension, pain, and/or stiffness in one or multiple areas of the body. I work with each client to determine their individual pressure preferences to reach a “good hurt”, where tension and stress are released, rather than it being painful. Please note: Massage East does not currently offer prenatal massage. Please do not book this service if you are pregnant.
